Splash! The boy dives into the depth of cold icy water. First the loud crash and then a deafening silence followed by a sudden pressure and weightlessness. The boy slowly regains feelings after the numbness caused by the freezing water. First he hears a soft hum and then the sound of bubbles in the water as he releases air from his lungs. He opens his eyes. The bright sunlight is gone. Everything is blurry but yet amazingly colorful under the scattered sunlight. He looks around while splashing his hand swiftly to stay still amidst the currents. The dark blue water he looked down on is now a clutter of hazy, bright colors. He doesn’t have much time before he runs out of breath and will have to surface for air. He looks around among the blurry neon colors. He is looking for his fish hoping it was still alive.

The boy is back home after spending two days (and nights) in a secluded Sick-o-sausorus research facility. After two days of hard work and little food, boy had a good long sleep and whale for lunch making is bundy enormous. Back home everything looks different. Trees are red and yellow and its raining leaves. Boy is hoping the girl would travel north to catch the fall foliage before it all gone.

boy is playing with lasers in cages. he is stuck in new jersey. for the day. ordinarily, that would be hardly anything to celebrate. but this is a special case. Sick-o-sausorus new jersey, after all, is a lot closer than Practically-Boston, Connecticut.
the weekend came very close to being like last weekend. except there was not even the excuse of fever. but why does one need a reason to sleep in until 7:30 p.m. even then, waking up was a huge effort. had to make a long-distance commute way up to 90th street. there, we met the people boy had picked up in a bar - in a dungeon, more precisely - in paris. lovely sheep-loving canadians. tasted wine and nibbled on tomato-and-mozarella and felt so adult.
after another stop way up on the upper west for dinner, girl got altitude sickness and had to be rushed downtown, where she was nursed to health by a dose of lychee daquiri at angel share - a semi-secret bar at st. mark's place. after an initiation drink in the outer room, she had an appointment with the doctor behind the veiled curtains. she felt all better soon, although the rest of the evening is admittedly quite blurred.

Thought a few words may be needed here before all the fish die. The girl is still crazy busy and has no time to look after the fish. She was also not feeling well last couple of days but feeling much better after the doctor visited her last week. The doctor is due to make another house call today to check on her. And may be make some vegetable for dinner.

It’s Friday!!! Here is the things-to-do list so far:
Someone’s going away party on Rivington. Wine party on Upper West (can’t get out of that one). Lost inTranslation?

She is still busy and hasn’t had any time to play. She still sleeps when everyone else sets off to work. And she works when everyone else is asleep. She is disoriented and confused and slightly delirious. But things are getting better. She managed to sneak out and hang out with her friends last night. And she has promised to play with Miffy and the other LoudCloud friends during the weekend. Movies, and parties are in the things-to-do this weekend. Since we are still on ‘P’, I guess we will also check out the next ‘P’ restaurant.
