The boy and the girl continued their valentine celebration the following weekend, by going to he Opera. Spiffily dressed, they went to the grand Metropolitan opera house to see L'Italiana in Algeri. The costumes were amazing and the voices were unbelievable. The whole stage was like a picture painting. It started with Mustafa’s men stealing everything off a ship including an Italian girl who is to become Mustafa’s newest wife. Then everyone in the audience went to sleep until the intermission. During the intermission they all had cappuccino and as they did during act 1 they all went back to sleep. The boy and the girl stayed up all throughout reading the subtitles trying hard not to nod off. After all they had each other when they got bored. They poked each other and ate Sri Lankan spicy snacks. Overall, though, it was good experience and a great opera at least compared to all other operas the boy and girl have been to. They can’t wait to see another. And had it not been so expensive they might have seen another one as early as in 10 years.

with a little help from a west-coast Help Desk, girl is sneaking on the web. when she should be doing something else. hope nobody notices.. she is not being lazy or anything, no, not at all - just a concerned citizen. concerned about the fish.

girl is in a nightmare situation. not just stuck in a room full of lawyers and endless stacks of documents. no, that would have been almost bearable. someone just came in with a bag full of bananas. yes bananas. a big pile of them, right in front of girl. and now - bananas being eaten in all directions, consumed, all around her. the smell of bananas. help.

Dear Sir or Madam:

Despite having our own little plane, the girl, boy, and Blake decided to fly your big plane to Sri Lanka. We have heard a lot about your big plane and we were expecting fun ride with lots of toys, sweets and movies. Our Colombo bound trip was indeed a lot of fun. We all played with toys, ate yummy meals. Later we all got cozy and watched movies until we all fell a sleep. But the ride back was a disaster.

There were absolutely no toys and the entertainment system did not work. There were no games and no radio. The stray tables were taped to the seat and kept falling on our laps and there were holes on the seat with what seemed to be electrical wires in them. Blake stuck his finger in there and his hair has never been the same. On top of it, when we asked for alternate seating the big guy Ajit became all mean.

The bad flight was almost 13 hours long.

We all love going to Sri Lanka and we would like to keep flying your big airplane in the future. Please be nice and have lots of movies, toys and yummy things on your plane next time.

The girl got flowers from someone. She bought a vase to put them in and she gave them flower food. When the boy finally came from his classes then went to dinner. Had dinner in the ‘ivory boat’(?) and champagne in the ‘bubble’. They had a great valentine’s days. Would have been better if the boy could have stayed awake a little while longer.

Barbie and Ken have split after 43 years. The girl is worried its Blake and Kendra next. But wait, are they even going out? If they are they bring a new meaning to the term ‘open relationship’. Because as far as I know Blake has been fooling around with quite a few people. Girls and boys. He is adored by the Girls friends and generally goes everywhere she does. Blake is also rumored to have a bi-curious relationship with a cute boy who visits the girl. It’s all very complicated. No one knows much about Kendra. She is the quiet and mysterious type. She prefers to stay home with the toys when everyone’s the out and what she does no one knows.

It’s Valentines Day tomorrow. And today, strangely, is Fri the 13th! Unlike Blake and Kendra, the boy and the girl have made plan’s for tomorrow with each other. They are going to ‘Le Bateau Ivre’ for dinner. Hope it’s a nice, romantic place fit for a cute little girl and cute boy.

Fish needs more food. Or soon they will be extinct.

The boy and the girl went up the mountains in the Catskills area to show off their snowboarding skills. They snowboarded all day on Saturday and then again on Sunday. They went down the steep slopes, through the trees easily negotiating the moguls and all other obstacles. The girl managed to keep up and do everything the boy did but the boy scored higher marks on amplitude and technical merit. Later that Sunday, they discovered a small mountain called the Wyndham. They spent another few hours snowboarding down the treacherous black diamonds. The long ride down was fabulous and lasted almost a whole second. The cold air and the artificial snow swept across the slopes as the two sped down icy mountain. The only problem they had was they had to watch out for all the little kids floating around in tubes.
