What is the title for?

Looks like a new feature :) You could now have a title for your postings.

The girl is in Mexico. She managed to move to her new apartment two blocks downs. She put some stuff there and some stuff in their shared little new home in a mini-storage. It is a really cute place just enough for the boy and the girl to live. Secure and all that too. Her big, strong friends came to help her move and the little cart compliments of the Nolita towers made it all easy. Then she packed her little bag and caught the plane to Monterrey yesterday. She is in a beautiful hotel which even has a pillow menu. She will tell us all about it when she gets back.

For those who misunderstood the earlier post, the fish was NOT shabu shabued. Fish was instead having shabu shabu with all the food they have been getting. So please don't panic. The fish are safe. Putting on weight but safe.

It’s shabu shabu time for fish. Lots of food cooking in a pot of boiling hot water. Yummy vegetables, meat and an egg thrown in together with red-hot chilies and sauce. But please, no soy sauce. The fish are happy. They have been getting a lot of food l lately. I guess the boy and the girl; the girl specially, doesn’t seem to have any work. Although everyone she works with seemed to be very busy. Well, she has an excuse. She will be moving out of 199. After year and a half she is moving out of the block. But only two blocks down to Elizabeth. Her TV is gone and her couch is gone. All she’s got are her toys and the boy. Whereever she goes they will follow.

last night at midnight, girl sold her sofa, the purple, soft, lopsided one that kind of rocks when you sit on it. today, she sold her tv stand to a wall street trader. earlier in the day, she sold her table and chairs-with-cool-holes-in-them. soon, boy worries, there will be no where to sit -- except maybe on piglet. yes piglet can make a hard wood floor softer.

friday. 9 p.m. girl sips ginger-tonics at gramercy tavern, a place too grown-up for her, and waits for boy, who is detained at an examination facility in connecticut. by the time he arrives, girl is back in her apartment and has thrown together an amazing thai meal for him (with a little help from some neighborhood friends). to celebrate the end of his exam, they party so hard boy almost breaks his neck.

satruday. 1 p.m. girl has lunch (and a date) with a certain australian boy she is only allowed to see in the presence of an escort (that being boy). afterwards, girl and boy endure war-like conditions (emerging from the subway, blinded by white clouds of dust and deafened by loud machinery, surrounded by mobs of people) to see Art - photomontages from revolutionary Russia and photographs from the war in Iraq.

afterwards, (yet another) of girl's cousins is in town and to boy's delight, she brings with her three indian girls. they all go to a giant candy emporium, where boy feasts on sour gummies, girl nibbles on cotton candy, and the others sip ice cream milkshakes and hot chocolates, all surrounded by piles of colorful sugar - and even a secret candy party room.

afterwards, they end up in girl's apartment, with girl's friend from new brunswick and his (roommate? who knows?) angel. they all sip cranberry and vodkas and try to figure out just exactly how girl and boy met - along with other interesting topics. so interesting, in fact, that they miss the last call for shabu shabu.

perfect excuse to stay in nolita. so they meet two other friends (who didn't know each other would be there but - suspiciously - arrive on the same train and leave in the same taxi) at Mekong, a trendy vietnamese, and later have sake at Chibi, a bar named after the owner's dog. all the while, boy is still dreaming about shabu shabu.

sunday. fulfillment. boy is singing with glee as he dips slices of beef into a boiling stew of chili ...

The LoudCloud fish are like information bytes. They are location independent and swim around the world in water or ether. They are able to propagate through a media at rates standardized by the world telecommunications standards committee, IEEE. They could attain speeds up to speeds of light and can be transferred to any part of the world by switching using a router. They use selective retransmission for error control and so generally swim error free. So most likely it’s the same fish that you see Mexico and any fish food fed will be consumed by the network of LoudCloud fish.

boy can't even talk in words anymore. last night he tried to multiply girl by some ratio! she turned out to be so, so small. he didn't realize the denominator could do so much harm. now he can barely find her, poor, poor microscopic girl..

postcard from mexico and a thought: are these fish (in mexico) the same as loudcloud fish? are fish, like water, rootless, flowing, liberated, somehow, of location? or, more to the point: is this fish food worth it?

The boy has got a ‘pain in the neck’. And no, he is not talking about the girl who keeps waking him up at all odd times of the night. He’s got a stiff neck. Probably due to all the studying he does these days. He read all the 150 pages he had to read and now calculating the transmission speed of information sent to a lunar colony. 100 bytes at the speed of light apparently take T seconds. That’s only assuming there isn’t any noise. If you throw noise into the formula, the time is increased to e to power (1-p) raised to logarithm of 'kosh' theta. Sigh! The boy is never going to get this right. With the stiff neck multiplied to the power of ten and no time to process the data, the boy is sure going to flunk. He only hopes his scientific calculator will come up with the right numbers.

girl forgot to wear green.. she hopes she doesn't get pinched ! unless by a very cute leprochon :)

boy made it all the way to page 70, and all girl could say was "bye."

weekend was jam-packed with everyone in loudcloud busy and frenzied. boy had an exam to take, an assignment to finish, and a girl to please, while the soon-to-be displaced population of 199 bowery worked themselves into a dizzy trying to sell off their possessions before their impending homelessness.

it started on friday nite with the arrival of a cousin and a trip to indonesian/malaysian restaurant that happened to be located two blocks away (this geography being the only reason girl could motivate herself to leave her Sony WEGA tv on its very last night at her home). there, girl and cousin found themselves sipping lychee martinis and chardonnays, respectively, with a happy crew of dutiful devotees who seemed quite content with their ice waters. the night continued to included assorted venues of private parties and lounges, but girl really was just waiting to go to home and call a certain someone, who, sadly, was absent from their usual friday night reunion. instead, somewhere in connecti-where?, boy sat alone diligently studying or rather, staring at a middle-aged woman on a screen lecturing about some technology-related subject girl does not even understand enough to describe.

saturday morning boy had to stay in connecticut to make a presentation in front of thousands of supporters.

in new york, cousin went out shopping with her friends while girl stayed at home while various people came to her apartment and gave her hundreds of dollars in cash and left with her possessions. one person even disassembled her bed, while she watched! a bed reduced to anonymous planks of wood - in front of her very eyes. very sad. and soon - there was not even a tv to console her.

then - ta da - boy finally arrived on the scene, and off they went to eat yummy crepes, meet friends and play pool (well, someone played pool) at whiskey ward, then a hip-hop lounge and of course (where else?) le pere pinard. finally, in the early morning hours, they ate hummus sandwiches and shish-kabobs-for-esh-kabobs and took a taxi the two blocks home..

girl is trying to prevent boy - and her toys - from being sold to eager buyers invited into her apartment, claiming they are interested in her furniture, but really eyeing these other prizes. Everyone wants a piece of the must-be-so-talented designer of her web page and, apparently, the genius behind the color scheme of her living room. Even her orange art was almost taken. But abandoning her capitalist ambitions, girl (fortunately) surrendered to her more sentimental instincts, and kept boy, piglet, and her art, safe and unsold.

The boy is in class. Struggling with a presentation. He is trying to describe something he doesn't know much about. The good news is that this is the boy's last Saturday class.

It’s been a hard week for the boy and girl. The boy has been studying hard and the girl has started a home business. (Check it online at http://www.geocities.com/salpadoru/.) They haven’t had the time to feed the fish. With all the training the fish have had they should be fine for a few days.

she barely remembers him leaving. she wishes it was just a wrong memory. but in the morning, he was gone. and now he is lost.

They are back from Boston. The girl went to attend a conference and the boy did his homework at a little coffee shop in Cambridge. Then then drove back to Nolita that night. They played games on the way and the boy ended up being a ghost. He was a ghost for 20 long minutes.
The boy is hungry now and waiting for the girl to finish her work. She doesn't do much usually but when she does she works even on Sundays.

girl spent last week in california. more specifically, in irvine. more exactly, in a conference room. with stacks and stacks of documents. during the weekend she went home to see her family. it was so nice being home. but soon, it was time to take the red-eye back. she brought cupcakes back, and some rolls. she wanted to save some for boy, but ate them. oops.

boy said he would call. in fact he said he is calling now. but waiting by the phone. it is silent.

drinking green soup again. green with spikes. all natural. fresh fresh. very tasty soup.

girl can't wait till tomorrow. she has been day dreaming about a certain orange-sweatshirt-wearing boy all week ...

If you wondered where the girl is, she has been sleeping all week. She claims it's the jet lag after she flew back from California. But that doesn't explain why she sleeps 11 hours everyday since she got back 3 days ago. Hopefully, she will be up and about this Fri when we go to Boston. Else the boy plans to trick her into having a coke. That might, however, be somewhat dangerous considering she could get super-hyper like an enerziged atom and bounce around like Spring and Bowery.
