Swedish Party - Boy's version

The girl spends an hour trying to figure out where her tickets are. The boy is made to wait outside ‘the Puck’ building while the girl manages to hassle a Toshi employee into letting her and the boy in. Generally, waiting outside a building checking out the hundreds of girls, mostly blonde, blue eyed, at least a foot taller than him didn’t really bother him. But in this case the boy was hungry and he was with a boy who was wearing a beaded vest-shirt which he acquired after he successfully outbidding peter-pan. Once in, the boy forgot all about his hunger. There were girls wearing nothing but paint and there were free vodka flowing out of ice structures. Except the vodka and the silly flowers on girls’ heads boy wasn’t sure what else was authentic Swedish. Soon the hunger got the better of him and he dragged the girl out of Swedish party to have Indian Katti Rolls.

Swedish Party

Joined by barely clad Tosh-ettes and Tosh-studs dancing on tables, girl and boy celebrated the longest day of the year at a Toshi's Midsummer Night's Swedish party. Girl managed to get them in without tickets, and they were joined by many friends, including one boy who boasted an e-bay acquired beaded vest-shirt, crop pants and tall boots. Clearly, all had their own interpretations of Scandinavian revelry, but everyone, in their own way, seemed to have a grand time and enjoy the open bar and eye candy.

Going Places

Mobissimo Travel
The fate of the Loudcloud people is uncertain. Everyone seems to be in transition. Where girl or boy may live and what kind of work they will be doing next week, and next month, is a wild guess. Boy risks his paycheck to escape his repressive homeland of Enfield. Girl is ready to leave the city that never sleeps, to Save the World (or perhaps, start a small war). what will the outcome be? So many variables, like tossing a dice. They may end up in the same city, or may be separated by many seas. On the bright side, with so much moving and traveling predicted for the future, there will come Miles. Will boy win back his coveted Star Alliance gold status? at this rate, very soon.

Save Miffy

Missed in the chaos of the hijacking last week, it was recently discovered that Miffy, friend of Piglet, has been kidnapped along with the fish (well, at least the ones that avoided the fate of hot oil). They are now being held hostage. Negotiators are urgently needed to secure their release.

Authorities Investigate LoudCloud Hijacking

Authorities in LoudCloud investigating the hijacking of the LoudCloud Blog early last week have announced that they are looking for a girl in pink for questioning. The girl from LoudCloud, who was earlier ruled out as a suspect due to her lack of knowledge in computers required to carry out such a task, was renamed as a suspect after authorities apparently discovered the girl engaged in “suspicious” activity dressed in pink. The boy who was questioned by the authorities after he was spotted with the girl in NoHa area, have acknowledged spending time with the girl but defended the girl saying he sees no reason for the girl to hijack the blog which she incidentally co-owns.

State of Emergency

late last night, someone made fish and chips. not just ordinary fish and chips. loudcloud fish! our poor, poor fish.

The Boy Explains

The boy hasn’t contributed to LoudCloud in a few days for good reasons. Firstly, he is waiting for a word on the congressional hearing in the state of Connecticut held in order to decide if the boy could continue to stay and work in the state. If the committee fails to agree on an extension, the boy has to leave his current job and rely of state of New York to extend his visa in which case he will still have to find a new job. Secondly, the boy is taking an online course about online business. As part of the course he has about 10 hours of streaming video to watch a week. The boy could easily watch 10 hours of TV but this particular video doesn’t have the action, romance or the conspiracy of a TV show. Instead its hours and hours of a Chinese man talking about strategy, management and systems. Lastly, the boy’s writing skills have come under scrutiny. Despite the attempt to justify that his writings (at times) follows the British rules, various people have criticized the boy's ability to construct simple sentences. The girl, one of the critics, recently charged that the boy's grammar, when it comes to, countable nouns and verb usage was flawed.

an Appeal to the Public

girl's old apartment, and current mailing address, is on the Bowery, a stretch of land that was originally inhabited by vagrants, misfits, and druggies. it was known for its notorious homeless shelters and "hotels." it has since - like all good things - been taken over by the hipsters and the club kids. girl takes no responsibility. after all - she was not the one who named the velvet-roped club two doors down from the Bowery Mission for the Homeless, the "Mission." its a brilliant idea: drunk, rich party-goers all dressed up to get rejected by a bouncer on a power trip or leaving the club even more drunk and incoherent get to stumble over drunk, poor homeless people on the sidewalk outside. likewise, it was not girl's idea to put a mega-club with 6 bars, 2 stages and 3 VIP rooms in the basement of her apartment building. no, girl was merely an innocent bystander. she liked the old Bowery neighborhood - the edgey, industrial, outcast, restaurant-supply store feeling of it. so that's why when the neighborhood changed, she decided to go, too. she fully supports Homelessness (and the homeless). and she urges you, too, to consider feeding, sheltering, and subsidizing a Homeless person near you (preferably this weekend, preferably girl).

Urban Camping

NEW YORK - CITY OF DREAMS. ever since girl pimped out her apartment, girl and boy have had to deal with homelessness. but homelessness is such a harsh term. girl prefers the expression "urban camping." Urban camping is a great opportunity to trek through the concrete jungle of under-sized and over-priced friend's apartments, hopefully discovering a futon or at least a floor to crash on after a hard day of avoiding all the wild animals that find there native habitat here in new york city.

A question about anything, ranging from the sleeping habits of piglets to the political persuasions of ex-president's ex-girlfriends? then please ask boy. he will find out for you. its part of his new know-it-all Plan. in addition to this vast knowledge, boy is now an expert on the blogosphere, he recently authored an article on the how to strategize your enterprise of blogging, or loucloudize your life, or something like that.

Kinko's Publish LoudCloud the Book

Gascogne, Chelsea - Finally, the two managed to find time to celebrate their anniversary. They are about a month late. Almost close to the 13th month anniversary. But it was well worth the wait. The restaurant was excellent. The girl wondered how the boy manages to pick such perfect places. The boy found out about the place through his French connections according to whom, Gascogne is the best French restaurant in the city. The girl and the boy had champagne and the boy had a surprise for the girl. LoudCloud the Book! Yes the part one of LoudCloud was published by Kinko’s over the weekend. And the girl got an autographed copy of the limited edition.

Invasion of the MOGU Man

After months of suffering with only limb and heart-shaped Mogus, girl is ecstatic to learn that the Mogu Man has finally arrived.

Check it out.

Even more exciting, reports are coming in from Milan, Italy about a Giant Mogu Man. Loudcloud Special Correspondent in Milan reports:

At the tent in the courtyard of this venue, the Giant MOGU Man was welcoming and overwhelming the people with its size of 500 mini MOGU People attached. Some had taken photos with or simply hug this MOGU Man. It seemed all instantly fell in love the Giant MOGU Man!

Meanwhile, the people of Manhattan, New York - still lagging behind Japan and Europe in the field of well-designed but useless cute things - are still waiting for the arrival of the first shipment of MOGU Man. Girl hopes to be among the first to welcome Mogu Man to the New World.

LoudCloud Partners With Sitemeter

Manhattan, NY – Management for LoudCloud announced that the blog is now ‘sitemeter’ enabled. Amazingly, the girl has discovered the new feature and have installed it herself. This comes as a particular blow the rival blog, the circus, which have recently syndicated with several other technologies but have yet failed to offer the ‘sitemeter’ functionality to the users. The site meter enables one to track visits to the blog.

Canoes, Horses, and John Edwards

After recovering from all those those late-night pecan waffles and fried eggs and bacon, girl and boy decided to explore their surroundings. The downtown seemed like a yuppy-fying neighborhood-turned-shopping-mall so they headed into the woods. They ended up on a canoe in a lake in the middle of a nature preserve. They rowed the boat around fallen trees and underwater trunks and battled imaginary crocodiles. Then they found lots of horses and girl wanted to go horse back riding. Boy was a little hesitant (he doesn't like the types of transportation that don't have remote controls) but after girl convinced him that horses do have joysticks, they went for a ride through the forest on Gypsy and Lady. They were so distracted on their horses that they forgot they had a flight to catch, so they raced back in their car, made a few wrong turns, dropped off the rent-a-car and barely made it to their seats in time for the take-off. Soon they had left the South, and girl hadn't even met John Edwards.

What Happens when Sri Lankans head South

GASTONIA - NORTH CAROLINA. The bus to the pre-wedding party broke down, leaving many guests stranded on the highway, hitchhiking rides on the back of pickup trucks. fortunately girl and boy are always late so missed the bus, and ended up being chauffered to the Village Tavern, where they were the only sober people. Girl, totally sober, was still rejected from the post of designated driver, because apparently drunk people drive better than her.

The post-pre-party involved many shocking things that every groom needs to see before he gets married. But it all ended in Waffle House, a 24-hour breakfast institution that they got to know very well over the course of the weekend. Here, girl met her first real Republican. Someone who, shockingly, didn't share her opinion of John Edwards good looks.

The wedding itself went smoothly. Boy made a grand entrance (with another girl!) in the ceremony, the groom was a little too eager to say "i do", aunties went crazy trying to tell everyone what to do, the M.C. was still drunk and throwing up from the night before, and despite her best efforts not to be identified, all the uncles there turned out to know girl's father and mother.

the post-wedding party involved another late-night trip to Waffle House, this time was more dramatic. The Waffle House was suddenly filled with more Sri Lankans than the people of North Carolina ever knew existed. Let's just say there was blood involved, but girl and boy managed to flee the scene in time (with a baby), and their friend (the one who picked them up from the airport) managed to find not one, but two people to share his king-sized bed. all in all, a very successful wedding.

The Boy Crash Again

Skylark Airport, CT – The second attempt at getting the LoudCloud Airlines off the ground, sadly, ended in yet another spectacular crash. This time the plane took off without an incident and flew for a few minutes over the airport field and above a car park. The pilot managed to keep the plane in control until a gust of wind threw the aircraft off course right above a group trees. In a desperate attempt to get back to the course, the pilot reduced power and made a sharp turn. This caused the aircraft to stall and fall on top of the trees. The entangled plane had to be recovered by a Turkish salvage company. No injuries were reported and the aircraft sustained no damage. Meanwhile a spokesmen for Paul Allen said, the SpaceShipOne is considering asking the boy to pilot its first flight to space schedule for July. SpaceShipOne will be the first commercial spaceship to fly out of the atmosphere which is expected to win the X price reserved for the team that first build and launch a spaceship privately that is able to carry three people to an altitude of 100km, return safely to earth and repeat the trip in 2 weeks. Burt Rutan, aviation technologist and the head of the SpaceShipOne team said despite the on-going NTSB investigations after the boy crashed a couple of times this month, he sees no one else qualified or skillful at this stage to carry out the experimental flight. The boy who has returned from Gastonia, NC, after attending his friend’s wedding, was not available for comments.

The Boy Thinks of an Alternative Domain Naming Methodology

Most companies have not registered the dot COM of the mirror image of their domain names. The boy is contemplating if he should. He has found out that the dot COM of the mirrors for companies such as Cingular, Verizon and Whitehouse are still available.

However, his research showed that most hi-tech companies especially ones with a large Internet presence, such as Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Match, Slate, Playboy and Lycos have already registered the dot COM of the mirrors of their names. In addition, interestingly, the mirrors of United, Texas and NewYork are also unavailable.

Other dot COM mirror domain names that may be of interest to the girl and the boy, Conflict, Loudcloud, Craigslist and Gawker, which would read rekwag.com, are also available.

Girl and Boy Visit Cape Cod

Despite the unsuccessful launch of the LoudCloud Airlines, the boy and the girl had an exciting long weekend together. The girl and the boy, drove all the way to the School of Charm and Personality for Young Women in Brewster, Cape Cod. They later went beach hopping on the cape and to dinner in Provincetown. But the boy couldn’t wait till dinner so he had fish and chips on the way. For dinner they shared a big roasted lobster which the boy worked his way with the tools provided. That night the girl and the boy met a friend on scooter and decided to go and see zis (or is it hos) show. They returned to Enfield the next day played tennis, cooked a great feast which included ambulthiya and egg plant kirihodi and watched another interesting movie with good cinematography and very bad acting.

LoudCloud Airlines Crash on First Flight

LoudCloud Airlines which started service today crashed on its maiden flight. (Also on it’s second and third flights) The final, and the most successful flight was almost 10 seconds long and the aircraft is believed to have reached speeds up to 50 mph during the ill-fated final flight. The aircraft also reached an altitude of about 100 feet before the pilot declared emergency after loosing control of the aircraft. The black box which was later recovered at the crash site indicated the pilot cut off the power in mid-flight to avoid the aircraft from crashing to a building next to the airfield. The sudden loss of thrust resulting from this maneuver is attributed to the severe damage main wing of the aircraft received which ultimately caused the aircraft to free-fall to the muddy surrounding of the airfield. Reports from RBA airfield indicate that there were no injuries and the pilot and the crew was rescued from the crash site immediately after the crash. Spokesperson for LoudCloud Airlines said the aircraft will be repaired and ready for test flights as early as this weekend. Posted by Hello
