No Sequel to Warranty Expired?

Publisher of “LoudCloud - Warranty Expired” has threatened to pullout from an agreement between him and the members of LoudCloud to publish the sequel to the book after he learnt that the girl has made no contribution to the blog in months. Reliable sources report that the girl has been busy with the Sri Lankan peace process and learning to reverse-park the car and hence has had no time for LoudCloud. In addition, the girl has met other people with names such as “Pinky” who she is reportedly spending all her free time with. The condition of the LoudCloud people who lived with her is unknown. The boy is investigating.

The Boy Attacked in Boston

On a visit to Boston, the boy and his friend took evasive action to avoid being shot at. An armed man with a pistol chased them around the streets of Boston. But the boy and his friend managed to escape unharmed thanks to boy’s streetwise skills and quick thinking.

The Boy Starts Work in Upstate

The boy is looking up at the tall maroon colored walls surrounding him. He can’t see anything else except thru the tiny gap that is the entrance to the cubicle. He feels strange to be in an office environment after the long break. But he has no work to do. So he walks around a bit and calls the girl while staring down at the ducks in a nearby pond seen through the large windows outside his office. The girl is sleeping. The daylight saving time is now over and so the girl’s gone to bed early. Or rather it feels early. The boy waits till 5pm and leave for the train station thinking if he should be back tomorrow.
