Day to go! All systems go

The boy leaves for Australia.

2 Days to go!! Houston ...

Passport still en route to Embassy of New Zealand in Washington DC. Fed Ex reported delays in delivery due to bad weather. Boy contemplates if he will make it. He has to or the girl will be sitting on her luggage and crying in the Sydney airport terminal.

3 Days to go!

Slight hitch. The boy doesn't have his passport or the tickets yet. Neither does he have the visa situation sorted out.

4 days to go!

4 days to go! The boy will be on his way down under where a certain girl who works for a little government job in Sri Lanka will be waiting for him. He wonders how a government worker in a developing country such as Sri Lanka, is able to afford such a trip. But he could care less. He was so excited that he didn’t even mind the first flakes of snow that fell on the roads of upstate New York making his daily drive to work very difficult. Soon he will be on his way; half way around the world to be with the girl in a new, strange place.

But come New Year, he will have to continue his journey across the world taking the same route as did Amelia Earhart. He will soon be back in an even colder New York which by then would probably be buried in inches of snow. That is if … the girl lets him leave Sri Lanka.

All this, only if the boy gets his passport and tickets in time both of which are on a FedEx plane somewhere in the world.

LoudCloud Saved

The boy is ecstatic after he managed to recover the lost LoudCloud with a little help from the friendly people at BlogSpot. He is waiting for the girl to come to work so that he can share the good news with her. Meanwhile, the boy wonders what to do with the temporary LoudCloud he setup for the people of LoudCloud to blog during the disaster. Piglet actually liked it as much as he did the original LoudCloud.
